FEWER women between 25-39 are taking the test for cervical cancer.

In the overall `invitation’ age group of 25-64 the number of women taking up the invitation for screening has also fallen over the last six months.

Over that period the Shropshire coverage for the full age group was above the national average at 82% but the 25-39 age group have particularly low coverage rates of 76%.
