MOST of us feel a little self-conscious to say the least when exercising, so Wrexham Leisure Department has come up with a way to make life easier.
Morgan Llwyd Sports Centre, Queensway Stadium, Rhosnesni Sports Centre and Waterworld have all joined forces to offer a variety of female-only sessions.
There is a wide range of classes to suit everyone.
Morgan Llwyd is running street dance classes every Saturday at 11.30am for girls aged 16 years and over.
If you want to improve your fitness levels, Queensway has women-only cardiovascular and resistance training at its gym sessions on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, between 9am and noon. It is also offering racketball on Sundays at 2pm and there is a ladies core stability class or female fit club on Tuesdays at 5.30pm. For further details, telephone Queensway on 01978 355826.
Rhosnesni Sports Centre is holding ladies over-50s Aquafit classes on Mondays at 12.45pm and ladies swim fit classes on Thursdays at 8pm. Telephone 01978 358967 after 6pm for details.
Mother and Baby Swimming sessions have been organised at Waterworld every Thursday, starting at 2pm and 2.30pm for babies aged from three months. Booking is essential for this free session. To make a booking or for details call Waterworld on 01978 297300.
