WREXHAM and the club’s biggest fans organisation have agreed to work together to secure a long-term future for the Dragons at the Racecourse

The breakthrough follows months of sniping between Wrexham Supporters Trust and club owners Neville Dickens and Geoff Moss about the best way to put the club on a sound financial footing and develop the stadium in tandem with a commercial and residential scheme on the adjacent land.

Moss said: “We have asked the Trust to come back with proposals that we can consider, perhaps based on the lines of other successful football club partnerships.”

Trust chairman Bruce Clapton added: said: “We agreed to work with the club to look at the many different options for its long term. We feel the time is now right to put in place a structure that will provide long term security.”
