THOUSANDS of fans from across the country are being urged to turn up at Wrexham's Saturday cup tie to show their support.

Brighton and Hove Albion fans have e-mailed supporters at every club, calling on them to wear their club colours at the Racecourse in unity over Wrexham's current plight.

The Fans United action will see peaceful demonstrations at grounds across Wales and England in a passionate show of solidarity.

A Fans United spokesman and life-long Brighton supporter Nic Outterside said: "When we lost our own ground we came within inches of going out of existence.

"The danger of Wrexham folding is real and it would create a domino effect, which could see many more towns lose their football clubs forever."
