FANS have the chance to win a place in Wrexham's squad for next season at Saturday's fun day at the Racecourse.

The highlight of the event - organised by supporters' umbrella group Wrexham First - is a competition which allows fans to be registered as a Dragons player with the Football League.

The winner's name will be listed along with the rest of Denis Smith's squad on the club programme during the whole of next season.

Entry costs £1 per person and all entrants must kick a football from the corner flag of the Racecourse pitch towards the centre circle. Whoever's shot lands nearest the centre circle wins.

The competition will be held once the Dragons players have finished a public training session at the ground, which starts at 11am.

Supporters will get the chance to meet the team, while there will also be a fun fair on the car park and the opportunity to go on a guided tour of the ground.

Tomorrow is the last chance for fans to pay £10 to have their name embroidered on Wrexham's new away shirt. The ticket office will be open during the fun day so fans can buy tickets for the pre-season friendly against Rafael Benitez's Liverpool on July 21.
