A FESTIVAL packed with activities for everyone is promised for Willaston’s annual celebration.
The Willaston Village Festival, from Thursday, July 9 to Sunday, July 12, will feature music, drama, dance and arts and crafts including the Hadlow Green Singers and the Willaston Players.
Children will be kept entertained by a treasure hunt and children’s sports while stalls selling a wide variety of goods can be perused. The main event on the Saturday takes place on the recreation ground next to the school and the festival parade leaves the village green at 12.45pm.
The theme of the afternoon is Alice in Wonderland and children will be entertained to tea by the Mad Hatter.
