Ex-pupils plan golf club reunion

A CALL is going out for former pupils of the old Crewe Grammar School in Ruskin Road who are interested in a reunion which has been organised.

A CALL is going out for former pupils of the old Crewe Grammar School in Ruskin Road who are interested in a reunion which has been organised.

It is for pupils who started there after 1950 and left before 1960, and takes the form of a Saturday evening meal at Alsager Golf Club on October 20 at a price of £16.50 a head.

One of the organisers is Christine Cooper, née Williams, who started there in 1953.

She said: 'The reunion should be a good night and we have already had about 100 replies but it is important people get in touch first because it is a meal.'
