MANAGER Mike Barton feels his Caersws side are “heading in the right direction” after notching only their second point of the season at Llanelli.

The Bluebirds more than matched the league leaders who played the second half with 10 men after having Antonio Corbisiero sent off for handling on the line.

Graham Evans smashed home the resulting penalty, which cancelled out Mark Pritchard’s 26th minute opener, to earn the Bluebirds a valuable point.

Barton felt it was no less than his side merited, adding: “With the new signings we’ve brought in, we’re looking a different team.

“The signs are good, but we’re not getting carried away.”
