WEAVER Vale Housing Trust has revealed its employee of the year award winner.
Gary Hood, customer and support services manager at the Trust’s Gadbrook Park site at Rudheath, was voted the 2008 award winner by a forum of colleagues.
The Trust’s chief executive, Steve Jennings, presented 34-year-old Gary with a with a framed certificate and said the award was well-deserved.
“I’m delighted to present Gary with this award,” he said. “He is a deeply committed member of staff who is always keen to put the customers first and provide them with the best service possible.
“When judging, staff were asked to bear in mind the main values of the Trust, which are commitment, enthusiasm, collaboration, openness, fairness, respect, and customer focus.”
All Trust staff can vote for employees of the year on a quarterly basis. The people who win across the year then form the shortlist for the overall winner, which was presented in December.
