CBBC’s hugely popular Prank Patrol show visited the Blue Planet Aquarium to stage one of its most ambitious pranks.

Presenter Barney Harwood and his trusted ninjas descended on the aquarium with a special effects team to transform it into an elaborate hoax.

The Prank Patrol show is a chance for children to play pranks on friends or relatives.

Blue Planet’s Paul Renolds said: “The team spent two days preparing the prank. There were hidden cameras everywhere, false doors, special effects and a cast of actors.

“It was so realistic that I didn’t recognise some parts of the aquarium and it was all very convincing.”

The programme is due to be broadcast early next year.
