A BIG tick has been awarded to a Hooton-based supplier of safety clothing and equipment for its’ supply chain excellence.
The award recognises companies which have shown innovation, creativity and sustained commitment to corporate responsibility.
A member of the Ethical Trading Initiative (ETI), Arco was the first and only member of the ETI in its sector and is committed to ensuring its products are sourced ethically and safely.
Leigh Hardy, branch sales manager at Arco, in Hooton Road, said: “Winning the award is recognition of the hard work and determination that the supply chain team has demonstrated over the last few years.
“An ethical supply chain means we are offering our customers products that are made to the highest standards.”
Earlier this year, Arco donated ethically sourced high visibility vests to Acorns Primary and Junior School in Ellesmere Port to ensure pupils’ safety while travelling to and from school.
