GOOD sports are asked to organise a walk for charity.

Canine Partners, a charity which provides specially trained assistance dogs to people with disabilities is calling for fundraisers to organise a bluebell walk in April or May.

Each assistance dog costs more than £9,000 to train.

The charity hopes to increase its support for more than 100 applicants on the waiting list for a canine partner.

Community fundraising head Malcolm Wells said: “Walks can be for any number of people, covering any distance or terrain.”

To organise a walk, go to www.caninepartners.org.uk or call Jean Palmer on 01730 716014.
