POLICE are hunting a knifeman who robbed a Little Sutton supermarket last night, Thursday.
The offender, wearing a black balaclava and a white hooded top, burst into the Tesco Express store on Chester Road at 11.40pm and demanded cash, which terrified staff handed over. He then fled on foot.
A Cheshire police spokeswoman said: “None of the staff were harmed, but they were left incredibly shaken.
“The male offender is white, around 5ft 6-7ins tall, and of a stocky build. He was wearing dark blue jeans, white trainers and gloves. The white hooded top had black writing on the front.”
