ALL INDIVIDUALS have the right to live in a fair and free society.
Our manifesto has clearly outlined four priorities which we believe will change Britain for the better. They are: fair taxes that put money back into your pocket, a fair chance for every child, a fair future by creating jobs by making Britain greener and a fair deal by cleaning up politics.
This election can and must be a turning point for Britain – we need to be honest about the failures that caused the problems we now face. The Liberal Democrat party has set out a clear and hopeful course for a different, better future.
We all know that the constituency of Ellesmere Port and Neston is diverse and that there are issues to be addressed – unemployment, anti social behaviour, a lack of parking and affordable housing.
Local people have been excluded from involvement in decisions which affect them yet a strong community can only flourish if people are encouraged to come together to meet local needs.
I believe it is time for a change, both Labour and Conservatives have had years to get it right yet they have failed us. I intend to redress that failure.
