TWO Ellesmere Port men have been sentenced following a series of drugs raids.

The latest sentences mean that a total of 21 offenders from Ellesmere Port, Chester and Liverpool have notched up 46 years and two months in prison between them, and four years and five months in suspended sentences.

In January, Cheshire Police ran an undercover operation to target the use and supply of drugs in area.

As a result Ian Simm, 38, of Nelson Road, Ellesmere Port, was sentenced to nine months, suspended for 12 months, after he pleaded guilty to being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.

And Lee Stanton, 38, of Stoke Gardens, Ellesmere Port was given an eight-month sentence, suspended for two years, for one charge of supplying class A drugs.

Last month, 14 other people were also sentenced for their part in the operation.

They included Darren Thomas, 40, of Heathfield Road, Ellesmere Port, who was sentenced to two years for two counts of supplying class A drugs.

Anthony Skillicorn, 37, of Pound Road, Little Sutton, received a four-year sentence for four counts of supplying class A drugs.

Jamie Lee Smith, 27, of Kensington Road, Ellesmere Port, was sentenced to 30 months for two charges of supplying class A drugs.

Craig Robinson, 30, of Hope Farm Road, Great Sutton, was jailed for 30 months for two charges of supplying class A drugs

Ian Powell, 33, of Dove Close, Ellesmere Port, received a 12-month sentence, suspended for two years, for one count of being concerned in the supply of a class A drug.

Michael Williams, 22, of Fincham Road, Ellesmere Port, was sentenced to 30 months for two charges of supplying class A drugs

And David Sefton, 34, of Randle Meadow, Great Sutton, and Craig Lambert, 35, of Sheepfield Close, Little Sutton, each received a 12-month sentence, suspended for two years, for one count of supplying a class A drug.
