DJ Jordan Suckley, who will play at next month’s Creamfields, discusses what it’s like to perform to large crowds

MIXING with music stars and playing to thousands of fans across the world is the dream of any young DJ, but that has become the reality for Jordan Suckley of Ellesmere Port.

After winning a competition at Liverpool, the 24-year-old former Whitby High School pupil has not looked back, signing to an international label and getting the tongues of promoters wagging by playing sets in Ibiza, Norway, Ireland and at some of the biggest clubs in the UK.

But once the party stops, it’s back to work for Jordan as he leads a double life by working part-time for MBNA at Chester Business Park.

“It’s mad playing in the likes of Ibiza and then going back to work on Monday morning.”

Jordan has already played alongside superstar including DJs Paul Oakenfold and Judge Jules.

And this summer he will play in front of his home crowd on of the country’s biggest stages as he appears at Creamfields in Daresbury Park on August 28-29. It is the latest big achievement for Jordan after track Flames was included on the new Cream Ibiza CD and earned air time on Radio 1.
