ELLESMERE Port detectives have released a photograph of a man they wish to speak to in connection with an armed robbery in Ellesmere Port.

Following a number of warrants executed over recent weeks, two Merseyside men were arrested and charged with robbing two security guards of almost £20,000 at the Shell petrol station in Station Road, Ellesmere Port on November 5.

Detectives are keen to speak to 46-year-old Ian Styles, from the Merseyside area. He has links throughout the North West, particularly in the North Wales, Chester, Ellesmere Port and Merseyside areas.

It is not believed that Styles poses a danger to the public, however Police advise to contact them should his whereabouts be known.

DS Nigel Parr said "I appeal to anyone who may have any information in respect of Styles' current whereabouts to contact Cheshire Police on 0845 458 0000 quoting Operation Become. Similarly, I would appeal to Styles himself to come forward and make contact with Police, or go to the nearest Police station so we are able to speak with you".
