A CADET has been rewarded with a promotion.
Cadet Corporal Josh Hines, of Cheshire Army Cadet Force Ellesmere Port detachment, was promoted to Sergeant by company commander Major Muir.
Josh has been in the Army Cadets for five and a half years and says he has enjoyed working his way up to become a senior cadet.
He said: “It is good for kids to get into as it keeps them active and gives them opportunities; it helped me get my job.”
To get involved, go along to the TA centre, Stanney Lane, Ellesmere Port on Monday or Thursday between 7pm and 9pm.
