ELLESMERE PORT indie band The Fallows will kick off their first UK tour this autumn.

The group, formed in early 2010, have already made a name for themselves in Chester and Ellesmere Port with their blend of indie rock ’n’ roll tunes.

Regular performances at Telford’s Warehouse have enabled the four-piece to build a local fan base early on, something which has been strengthened by gigs at Chester Rocks and the Y Not Festival.

The band have also secured recordings on BBC Radio Merseyside and supported various bands in Liverpool and Manchester.

It’s been a good year for The Fallows, with the release of their first video, for Better from the Outside, and some of their songs becoming available to download on iTunes.

The headline tour, which begins at Telford’s Warehouse in Chester on October 26, will take the band to London, Manchester, Crewe and other UK venues before finishing in December.

Lead vocalist Gavin Swann said the band are really enjoying themselves and are looking forward to the tour.

He said: “The Fallows are in a really good place right now.

“We are really enjoying what we are doing and are already lining up next year’s festival tour.

“As a band we have always tried to do what we have done previously which is aiming to become a bigger and better band.”
