GORDON Brown’s debt, waste and taxes are holding us back and threatening the recovery with higher interest rates.Š A Conservative government will act on debt to get the economy moving.Š We will deal with the deficit more quickly than Labour, so that mortgage rates stay lower for longer.

We will ensure stability, build a more balanced economy, reform public services, create new jobs and make Britain open for business again.

We have to help business. We will cut corporation tax and simplify the tax system. We will support new business. Any new business started in the first two years of a Conservative Government will pay no Employer National Insurance on their first 10 employees. We will cut back on red tape and will end restrictions on people starting a business in social housings.

Labour plan to raise employer and employee National Insurance by 1% in 2011. Our priority will be to try and avoid this tax on jobs.

David Cameron recently visited Pirtek in Ellesmere Port and its owner is voting Conservative for the first time because he recognises the Conservative commitment to business and getting our economy moving.
