THE Welsh minister for children, education, lifelong learning and skills has been mingling with Wrexham’s youth.
During a visit to the town Jane Hutt AM was invited to attend a session of the Big YAC, the Youth Work in Education Youth forum, at the Dodds Lane Student Centre.
The minister witnessed the young people in action as they took part in a workshop to design the young people’s version of Wrexham County Borough Council’s Children and Young People’s Plan.
She was also able to learn more about the Big YAC through a presentation by Carlom Baines, who represents Darland High School in the group.
