FAMILIES do not have to travel far or break the bank to find some entertainment this Easter. Activities include:

Make your own Easter egg – Ness Gardens on Wednesday, April 8.

This is a perfect activity for chocoholics. Experts will be on hand to help kids create their own edible masterpiece to take away.

Entrance is adults £5.75, children 5-16 £2.75; activity £4.50 (children aged 5-10 years), takes place 10am-11am and 2pm-3pm.

Easter egg hunt and character breakfast at Chester Zoo - April 10, 11, 12 and 13.

Meet the zoo’s cuddly rabbit, Warren, and enjoy a free ride on the monorail.

An Easter egg hunt through the zoo will take place afterwards.
