POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted inside his own home in Rhos, Wrexham.

The attack happened at about 9.40pm on Thursday, July 24, but details have only just been released.

The 21-year-old was watching television with his girlfriend when the doorbell rang. When he opened the front door, he was confronted by two men who were unknown to him and who forced their way into the house and assaulted him.

One man was white, in his early 30s and was between 5ft 10ins and 6ft. He was of medium build, unshaven and had a shaved head. He was wearing a light green or blue T-shirt that had a design on the front, dark coloured jeans and black boots.

The second man is white, in his early 30s and had short dark cropped hair. He was between 5ft 8ins and 5ft 10ins and of slim build. He was wearing dark blue shorts.

The 21-year old received minor injuries to his face and body.
