WREXHAM'S Mike Ingham was yesterday officially named in Northern Ireland's squad for this Saturday's friendly against Germany at Windsor Park.

The goalkeeper was the only uncapped player in manager Lawrie Sanchez's 19-man squad.

Ingham comes in as back-up to Birmingham's Maik Taylor as Roy Carroll - who has been released by Manchester United - recovers from injury..

Sanchez said: "The game with Germany is a tough one for the players at the end of a long hard season but it is great for the supporters. I want us to put in a big performance for the fans."
