I WAS delighted to hear the news to come out of the Racecourse this week - and now my old club can push on for promotion.
It sounds to me that Neville Dickens (pictured left) has a good business plan to secure Wrexham's long-term future.
It is just the kind of good news the long-suffering Dragons fans needed to hear and they can now hopefully rest assured they won't be kicked out by the Football League in June.
It has been an awful time for them, not even knowing if they would have a ground at the end of season.
Even before the takeover plans were announced, the players continued to do the business on the pitch by securing a great derby win over Chester.
Now with the club all but sold and its future virtually secured, I can see no reason why they can't push on and secure a play-off place.
We all know that Wrexham don't deserve to be in this division and now they can go and prove it by finishing the season on a real high.
Good luck to everyone at the Racecourse.
