VALE Royal Operatic Society celebrates its 40th anniversary this week with a four-night run of classic musical Hello, Dolly!
The shows, starting tonight, Wednesday, and finishing on Saturday, could be the society’s last production at the Winsford Civic Hall after 40 years.
From early 2009, performances will be moved to the town’s new £10.8m lifestyle centre.
A spokeswoman for the society said: “We’ve got a production but it depends what’s left of the civic hall.”
Ellan Williams will play Dolly, Chris Wych is Horace Vandergelder, and Mark Curzon plays Cornelius.
