VALE Royal Lions teamed up with the Delamere Fortune Palace restaurant in Hatchmere, Norley to raise funds for victims of the Chinese earthquake in May.
More than 90 diners enjoyed a Chinese banquet and the success of the event has enabled the Lions to send £900 to China.
A Lions spokesman said: “We would like to thank all those who supported the event and particularly Pat Tang, owner of the Fortune Palace restaurant.”
The next fundraising event on the Lions’ calendar is a production of Pygmalion by the Harlequin Players on Tuesday, December 9, at 7.45pm.
