A DAY of activities will raise cash for Children in Need at Cheshire Oaks.

Frankie & Benny’s restaurant are holding a charity day on Saturday to raise money for the charity.

The event will run from 12.30-4pm, when staff will be in fancy dress and raffles will give people the chance to win a free meal every hour.

The Cheshire Jets basketball team will perform demonstrations between 2pm and 3pm

Audi will be attending with a brand new car full of balloons and inviting people to guess how many are in the vehicle for a prize.

A Frankie & Benny’s spokesman said: “This is going to be a great family day with lots of fun and helping to raise money for the less fortunate children.”

One brave member of staff from the restaurant will complete a baked bean bath challenge when a member of staff will be sitting in the bath for one hour from 2.30-3.30pm to help raise money.

The bath is being donated by the Bath Store and the baked beans by Makro in Liverpool.

Pudsey the bear will be in attendance all day and available for photographs with children.

The BBC will film from about 2.15pm.
