FORMER EastEnders star Anita Dobson teams up with Darren Day for a production of the award-winning musical Hello, Dolly! at the Liverpool Empire this week.
The show takes us on a whirlwind race around New York at the turn of the 20th century, as we follow the adventures of America’s most beloved matchmaker, Dolly Levi.
Anita Dobson is the irresistible Dolly Levi, Darren Day is loveable Cornelius Hackl, David McAlister plays the “unmarried half-a-millionaire” Horace Vandergelder and Louise English is sophisticated hat shop owner Mrs Irene Molloy.
Songs include Ribbons Down My Back, Before the Parade Passes By, It Only Takes a Moment and Hello, Dolly!.
