Big-hearted bike riders took to the road on Bank Holiday Sunday to boost funds at the Hospice of the Good Shepherd in Backford.
Twenty eight cyclists made the 35 mile round trip from the Grace Arms on Stanney Lane heading for Connah’s Quay.
There they enjoyed a refreshing drink at the Hare and Hounds on the high street before heading for home and food put on by the chef at The Grace.
“Congratulations to all the bikers who did the charity ride and a big thank you to all who sponsored the people who took part to raise money for this good cause,” said the organisers.
