Figures for the season show an annual increase of more than one million spectators and a seven per cent year-on-year increase.

Crowds for Divisions One, Two and Three are now at their highest levels since the 1963-64 season and average 9,595 a game.

Meanwhile, Wrexham have announced substantial discounts to fans who purchase season tickets for the 2004-05 campaign before the end of this month.

Prices have been frozen at last year's level and the Racecourse club is also offering a special deal on family season ticket prices, which are up to £90 cheaper than 12 months ago.

The cost for an adult and one child ticket in the Sainsbury's Stand is down to £300 from £340 and that for an adult and two children reduced to £365 from £410.

Even bigger reductions apply in the Pryce Griffiths Stand, prices having been set at £320 and £375 respectively, compared with £410 and £450 last term.

Prices - Kop: Adult £216 (£252 from June 1), senior citizen £108 (£126), junior £65 (£85).

Sainsbury's Stand: Executive box £324 (£378); centre, adult £258 (£294), junior or senior citizen £162 (£189), adult and one junior £300 (£350), adult and two juniors £365 (£420); paddock, adult £234 (£273), junior or senior citizen £144 (£168).

Pryce Griffiths Stand: Adult £270 (£315), junior or senior citizen £180 (£210), adult and one junior £320 (£375), adult and two juniors £375 (£400).
