A WINSFORD schoolgirl’s artistic talent has been recognised after a logo she designed was chosen to represent a new initiative.
Sophia Chapman was one of more than 40 school children from Greenfields Primary School, Winsford, and Rudheath Primary School asked to design a logo for the Greenfields and Rudheath Neighbour- hood House project.
The 11-year-old’s logo was chosen by Weaver Vale Housing Trust and Vale Royal Borough Council and she was awarded with a box of art goodies and a £100 donation to her school.
Weaver Vale Housing Trust’s neighbourhood manager Judith Burbidge said: “Sophia’s logo was perfect; it reflected everything that the partnership is about.”
