MANAGER Denis Smith will put the finishing touches to his new-look side in Saturday's trip to Port Vale (3pm).

Wrexham's final match of pre-season comes seven days before their League Two kickoff at Wycombe.

The Reds have been in Northern Ireland, which the boss hopes will have allowed new boys Steve Evans, Ryan Valentine, Chris Llewellyn and Neil Roberts time to fully integrate into the squad.

The versatile Llewellyn and target-man Roberts have looked particularly sharp and both were on the scoresheet in Saturday's flattering 3-0 win over Dungannon Swifts.

With Lee McEvilly sidelined and Juan Ugarte not signed up yet, Smith will have to go with the pairing if he decides to play two up front - yet he is not worried by that.

He was delighted with their performance against Dungannon, but is yet to settle on a system.

Smith said: '3-0 looks good on paper, but we know it wasn't like that and we will have to continue to work on things before the season starts.

'Chris Llewellyn has scored two in two games while Neil Roberts hit a double - so that was pleasing.'

The Dragons took on Clifton-ville on Tuesday after the Mail went to press. nWith the club ready to exit administration, its coffers have been boosted by a one-year shirt sponsorship deal with Ewloebased Leasedirect, which promises: £2,500 for promotion; £5,000 if achieved in the playoffs; £2,500 for reaching the FA Cup third round; £1,000 for a FAW Premier Cup win; £1,000 for a Football League Trophy success; £250 for each league clean sheet; £500 for scoring three goals.
