THE recently-launched Cheshire branch of national charity Combat Stress is holding a fundraising day at a Winsford pub.
The Brighton Belle on Middlewich Road will stage a string of live bands on an outdoor stage, a barbecue and bouncy castles on Sunday, July 26.
There military displays and a commemorative balloon launch, with one balloon being released for every soldier who has lost their life in Afghanistan.
Combat Stress is the only UK forces charity that specialises in treating servicemen and women who have suffered Post Traumatic Stress as a result of their active duties.
Event organiser Debbie Clewes said: “Never before have our services been so in demand. Please support this charity and show your support for our soldiers.”
The event is free to attend and will begin at noon.
