Women from Ellesmere Port joined Hollymere Extra Care Development residents for a ‘girl’s night in’ last week. (August 7)
The ‘Colour Me Beautiful’ event included an inspirational talk on colours in fashion from award-winning style consultant, Helen Jackson, and provided an opportunity for women of all ages to get together and pick up tips on the looks that suit them best.
Attendees chatted about fashion over tea and biscuits and took time to sample make-up and grab some of the gift vouchers available on the night.
Hollymere scheme manager Alison Parry said: “This was something a bit different from our regular coffee mornings and bingo events.
“There was a real buzz in the air as everyone talked about the changing fashions and styles. Here at Hollymere residents love socialising and it was nice to see how many ladies from the local community came along to enjoy the night.”
