GENEROUS staff and students from Yale College's Bersham Road Campus have made their annual donation to Nightingale House Hospice.
In the last 12 months, they have raised a magnificent £1,000, which was handed over by Liz Wilson, Learning Resource Centre (LRC) assistant, at a presentation at the college.
Staff and students at the Bersham Road site have raised more than £7,000 for the hospice during the last nine years. Each year they plan a programme of fundraising events and initiatives to raise as much money as possible for their adopted charity.
This year's fundraising has included raffles, a sale of lollies and handmade cards, a quiz, a swear box and a sponsored walk.
