EUROPE’S largest new circus is coming to town when the Cirque Surreal stops off shortly at Stapeley Water Gardens in Nantwich.

Clowns, acrobats, magicians and death-defying stunts will all be on show in the 1,400-seater big top, which is home of Sky One’s hit show Cirque De Celebrité.

The company, which was also responsible for the Chinese State Circus, boasts 25 international artistes from 10 different countries who present the livewire show Voyagers.

A spokesman explains: “The show follows a modern fable of five voyagers travelling through space and time under powerful and mystical influences beyond their control.”

Cirque Surreal visits Stapeley Water Gardens from Thursday, April 3, until Sunday, April 6. Show times are 2.30pm and 7.30pm Thursday to Saturday, and 2.30pm only on the Sunday.

Tickets are priced £8-£28. To book, phone the box office on 0871 224 0033 or visit www.cirquesurreal.co.uk.
