MORE generous donations are needed for this year’s Christmas Toy Appeal.
Every year The Chronicle teams up with Vale Royal Lions to collect gifts of every description to help put a smile on the faces of deprived children across Mid Cheshire – and this year is no different.
The Lions are taking on the huge task of sorting out all the gifts and making sure they are delivered to the many addresses in time.
This year we are asking people to take their gifts to the Joshua Tree shop in Weaver Square, Northwich, next door to Thorntons. The appeal began earlier this month, but you now have less than two weeks to donate to this worthy cause.
Linda Hill, of the Joshua Tree foundation, said: “A lot of people asking how and when they can drop things off – but we need more donations.”
