SUPERMARKET customers generously donated dozens of toys for a hospital children’s ward.
Sainsbury’s stores in Ellesmere Port, Neston, Upton and Prenton all joined in with a toy appeal and on Tuesday, the gifts were delivered to Arrowe Park Hospital.
Louise Irvine, from the Neston store, said: “The staff were overjoyed with the amount of toys collected. We would like to say well done and a big thank you to all our customers who donated toys.
“This will make the children who are in hospital over Christmas very happy.”
