THE staff at Hoya Lens on Wrexham Industrial Estate have turned out to raise funds for Nightingale House – this time by Šbringing their unwanted clothes and furniture in for an office collection.

The distribution centre for Nightingale House Hospice in Rhosnesni Lane has generated thousands of poundsŠsince opening in April by selling good-quality household items and second-hand furniture.

All of the money raised goesŠtowards deliveringŠthe specialist palliative care at the hospice.

Any business in the area can follow Hoya’s lead and set up aŠdonation day at work which will be attended by the distribution centre’s van for free collection.

Lynette Cowell, PA to managing director Martin Batho at Hoya, said: “This is a simple way of helping the hospice raise much-needed funds as well as having a good clear-out and recycling unwanted items instead of taking them to the tip – just in time for Christmas!”

To arrange a collection day at your office please call the distribution centre on 01978 262589.
