LADIES eager to work off those Christmas pounds are being invited to shimmy their way into the new year at a beginner’s class in belly dancing in Northwich next week.
The class is on Wednesday January 9 at Winnington Park Recreation Club and costs £2.50.
Teacher Pauline Mason, who also runs the successful Shimmying Jewels dance troupe, says belly dancing provides a gentle form of exercise which ensures flexibility of the body and has the added benefit of making you feel good about yourself.
