THE popular Froncysyllte Male Voice Choir is lending its voice to charity.

Following the success of last year’s sell-out concert, Voices of the Valleys, the choir will be helping raise money for Wrexham-based Nightingale House Hospice at Chester Cathedral on Thursday, December 11.

The cathedral event is musically directed by Ann Atkinson and joined by tenor Aled Wyn Davies, Phoenix Brass and the choir of Kings School Chester.

Special guest William Roache MBE (Ken Barlow of Coronation Street) has agreed to be Master of Ceremonies.

The concert will start at 8pm with tickets priced from £20 to £12.50.
