THE toddlers of Abbeyfield Day Nursery have taken tiny steps to raise a giant-sized amount of money for Nightingale House.
The little fundraisers completed a Sponsored Toddle, raising £1,183.
The cheques represented the nursery's ongoing support for the hospice, which shared its 10th birthday with Nightingale House this year.
The nursery's birthday fun day in July alone raised more than £300, and fundraisers are delighted with a total of just less than £1,500.
On behalf of the hospice, staff would like to send a special thank you to all the parents, sponsors and nursery nurses participating in the nursery's ongoing support, and would particularly like to give warm thanks to the youngsters.
