THE Deva Stadium witnessed another disastrous performance on Saturday, writes Neil Turner

This latest episode in the all-too familiar saga came against a very ordinary Wycombe Wanderers side, who rarely got out of third gear before easily registering their first League Two victory of the season against Chester.

Wycombe registered a goal in either half and if they had been more incisive they could easily have tripled their tally.

The first goal came after 26 minutes. A long ball found the unmarked John Mousinho who lobbed it over the advancing Jon Danby for a simple goal.

They doubled their advantage after 66 minutes when Chris Zebroski was adjudged to have been brought down by Laurence Wilson, Scott McGleish slamming the resulting spot kick under Danby’s dive.
