THE new year brings new school business to Cheshire yoghurt company Daisy Fresh Foods.

As part of Cheshire County Council’s local sourcing initiative, CBS catering have success- fully procured the only yoghurt producer in the county.

The yoghurt will be available to more than 300 primary schools throughout Cheshire from this month, and it is hoped that secondary schools will follow quickly.

Joy Bridle of Daisy Fresh said: “We are delighted to have added our Yess yoghurts to the list of local products available in Cheshire schools.

“These not only offer a great quality with no artificial ingredients but a unique provenance helping to reduce food miles and support our local economy.”

To help promote the yoghurts in schools, the expertise of Tattenhall Park school pupils were deployed to produce a range of posters.

Daisy Fresh’s marketing manager Suzanne Lunt said: “We are over the moon with the posters which the children have created.

“The posters offer an attractive naivety with a strong message that our yoghurts are made in Cheshire, taste great, and are very natural.”
