THE council’s Neston-based customer service access point will relocate to the town’s library to give residents easier access to it.

Currently housed within Neston Town Hall, the relocation will take place from Monday, March 25, and see the access point located closely to the People’s Network computers and I-Connect video kiosk that is already housed at Neston Library.

Increased opening hours at the library will mean easier access for locals and allow Cheshire West and Chester Council to offer an improved range of services.

Plus Dane housing officer Lynne Georgeson will also be moving.

Local member Cllr Brenda Dowding said: “The relocation of the town’s customer service point to Neston Library is designed to offer a number of key benefits to our residents.

“As well as the advantage in terms of access of the majority of council services now being housed under one roof, the building itself is easily accessible, with a car park and two disabled parking spaces, including one newly marked at the front of the building.

“I hope local residents will make use of the new and innovative technology we are installing across the borough in a bid to ensure that all of our residents, regardless of where they live, can communicate directly and easily with their council.”
