THIS week sees the launch of a campaign to recruit 40 foster carers to support Cheshire West and Chester Council in looking after children in care.
Foster care includes providing emergency overnight stays, short breaks for children with disabilities and long-term support.
Arthur Harada, children’s services executive member, said: “Everyone interested in becoming a foster carer should come along to our information evening on March 31 at Cheshire Sports Club, Plas Newton Lane, Chester, between 6pm and 8pm.”
