REPAIRS costing a third of a million pounds are needed to roads and footways in Neston.
The list of possible maintenance schemes to be carried out in the next three years was reported to a County Hall meeting of Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council’s highways and transportation committee.
Work costing £50,000 is needed in The Parade, Neston, between Station Road and Mostyn Square.
The surface of the road has failed and the carriageway requires resurfacing, according to engineers.
Resurfacing costing an estimated £48,000 is needed in Neston Road between Well Lane and School Lane.
A scheme costing £37,600 is needed in Hanns Hall Road between Chester High Road and Quarry Road, where the surface has failed.
Work costing £30,000 has been drawn up to renew a footway in Paddock Drive between Wood Lane and no 20.
On Hinderton Road, resurfacing is required at a cost of £29,000 between Bushell Road and Gladstone Road.
In The Green between Mellock Lane and Rocklee Gardens a scheme has been drawn up costing £22,700 to resurface the carriageway.
Resurfacing is also proposed in The Spinney between Earle Drive and the end of the cul-de-sac.
Engineers say the work would cost £22,500.
Resurfacing work could be carried out in Raby Park Road between Raby Road and Raby Park Close at a cost of £17,000.
A scheme costing £16,100 has been drawn up to reconstruct a footway in Sytchcroft between Raby Park Road and the end of the cul-de- sac, which is suffering from broken and uneven flagging.
Repairs needed to part of the footway in Chester High Road between Liverpool Road and Leaswood.
