A MAJOR survey of council tenants in Ellesmere Port and Neston has been launched.
Cheshire West and Chester Council’s housing management service is undertaking the survey, entitled All About You.
The aim is to ensure that housing services can be tailored and directed more efficiently and effectively in the future.
About 1,200 tenants received letters last week asking them to provide information on questions ranging from gender, race, religion and disability.
Cllr Herbert Manley said: “This profiling exercise is vital for us so that we can understand our tenants better and to enable us to tailor and target specific services for specific people, and saving tenants money too.”
Stewart Holton, managing director of the housing service, said: “It tells us where we can direct our services, it shows us if people aren’t making the most of the services we do provide and it makes sure that tenants and other customers get their fair share of the services they’re paying for.”
