POLICE are appealing for help in tracing a vulnerable 80-year-old man who has gone missing from Great Sutton.

Alfred Ravenscroft, who suffers from dementia and is registered blind, was last seen at his care home in Randle Meadow at around 12pm today (Wednesday, March 24).

Mr Ravenscroft, who uses the name Ken, is 5ft 8ins tall, of average build with short white hair.

When he was last seen he was wearing a sandy-coloured, three-quarter length coat with a dark collar, and jeans.

He has many links in Ellesmere Port, particularly in the Loxdale Drive area.

Cheshire Constabulary spokeswoman Shelley Williams said: “Police are becoming increasingly concerned for Alfred’s safety due to his health conditions and the fact that Alfred requires specific medication on a daily basis.

“Police are appealing for anyone who has seen Alfred since his disappearance earlier today to come forward and contact them.

“Anyone with knowledge of his whereabouts can contact Cheshire Police on 0845 458 0000.”
